Senior Vice President – Public Key Infrastructure at DarkMatter. Scott arrives at DarkMatter with 20+ years’ experience managing relationships and developing business opportunities with key government and industry clients looking to implement or improve Managed Public Key Infrastructure (MPKI) projects. Prior to joining DarkMatter, Scott was Senior PKI Architect at DigiCert, a US-based Certificate Authority (CA) located in Lehi, Utah.
Scott is a founding member and Chair of The Americas Grid Policy Management Authority (TAGPMA), and a previous Chair of the International Grid Trust Federation (IGTF). He also serves as a Board Member and Director/Administrator of the Research & Education Bridge Certification Authority (REBCA).
As a leading voice in advancing healthcare IT security, Scott serves as a Founding Board Member and Co-Chair of the Electronic Submission of Medical Documentation working group within DirectTrust.org. He is also a member of the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of the National Coordinator’s Federal Advisory Committee on Health IT Standards.
Scott, a native Australian and Certified Information Systems Security Professional, holds an MS in Computer Science from Queensland University of Technology and BS degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science.
