Abu Dhabi blue chips weigh down market index

The Abu Dhabi market index (ADXGI) declined by 0.78 per cent to reach 5,178.20 points on Thursday, April 24. Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials gained the most, closing 4.35 per cent higher at AED1.20. International Fish Farm Holding (Asmak) fell the most, finishing off 9.90 per cent lower at AED7.20. Aldar Properties dived by 6.11 per cent to AED4.30. Dana Gas plummeted by 4.44 per cent to AED0.86. Waha Capital lost 3.90 per cent to reach AED2.98. Six shares advanced, while 22 stocks declined in value.
