Bahrain Bourse left behind GCC market rally

Unlike its sister markets in the UAE and Qatar, the market in Manama failed to post a positive start into the new week and lost 0.24 per cent on Sunday, August 31. The gauge was driven down by Bahrain Islamic Bank (off 1.80 per cent at BD0.166), Aluminium Bahrain (one percent lower at BD0.50) and Ahli United Bank (off 0.61 per cent at BD0.82).

Khaliji Commercial Bank was the only gainer, finishing 2.10 per cent higher at BD0.049.
