In a step that reinforces its commitment to serve the community and support charitable organizations, CrediMax – the pioneering credit card issuer and acquirer in the Kingdom of Bahrain – donated BD10,000 to the Bahrain Red Crescent Society.

“At CrediMax we feel it is our responsibility to provide support and help improve the lives of the community by integrating the values and good conducts of social responsibility into all aspects of our business,” said Chief Executive of CrediMax, Yousif Ali Mirza.

“Corporate Social Responsibility at CrediMax is an on-going engagement and a commitment we undertake to make a positive difference in our society by contributing to charities and organizations working in community related activities. As a company we are also keen to promote social responsibility both internally, among our own employees, and externally, through charities working in our community on an ongoing basis,” he added.

The announcement was made last week during a cheque presentation ceremony held at CrediMax’s headquarters and attended by the Chief Executive of CrediMax, Yousif Ali Mirza, along with the senior management of the company and the Society’s General Manager, Mr. Mubarak Al Hadi, and other senior officials.

“The Bahrain Red Crescent Society is involved in many charitable and humanitarian initiatives in Bahrain. We are pleased to support the efforts of the Society, a trusted name in the community that plays a unique role in providing valuable support to our community,” said Mr Mirza.

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society receives regular support from CrediMax and the contributions are used to help the Society with the additional financial aid required to help needy families in Bahrain.
