The Egypt’s central bank left key interest rates unchanged on Thursday, a day after Egyptians voted to elect former army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as president, as it tries to balance growth and inflation pressures, Reuters has reported. The central bank kept the overnight deposit rate and the overnight lending rate at 8.25% and 9.25%, respectively, it said.
