Foreign investors purchase Dh2.5bn shares on DFM

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) said that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during the period from August 24-28, hit about Dh2.5bn, while value of stocks they sold stood at Dh4.45bn, with net foreign investment on the market reaching Dh47.4m during the period, as aggregate buy, Khaleej Times reported. Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 38.7% of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 38% of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said.
