Katch International turns four

Katch International, a London and Dubai based integrated marketing and communications agency, celebrated its fourth anniversary on the 31st of August 2014. The special day also marked the birthday of the founders’ late sister, Catherine Woollams, who is the inspiration behind the company name ‘Katch’.

In 2010, Katch International was founded by Georgina Woollams in London as an honour to her sister Catch. When business in the London agency flourished, Georgie passed on the reins to her sister Stephanie Woollams, and moved to Dubai to expand in 2012.

Today, their father, Chris Woollams, former Managing Director of advertising giant Publicis and youngest ever chairman of the multi-national communications group Ted Bates, joins the team as their CEO to lead the operations in both countries. The family-owned company’s portfolio now includes public relations, social media, design, conceptual development, sponsorship management and even celebrity bookings. The team is also behind House of Middle East, an exclusive event that runs during London Fashion Week showcasing up and coming designers originating from the Middle East.

Aside from its current list of clients, Katch International recently won new accounts including Clé Dubai, Eight Abu Dhabi, Panda Express and FAD for India Fashion Week in Dubai 2014. The agency has been with Clé Dubai from their early conceptualization phase, which includes developing its name, logo to overall brand identity and application across all collaterals and production. It also now handles its public relations and social media.

Eight Abu Dhabi has undergone a revamp and Katch has been a part of its reconstruction stages. Panda Express, America’s favorite and largest Chinese restaurant is coming to Dubai and Katch is proud to look after its public relations. Finally, FAD, India’s premier liberal creative arts and design institution, has chosen the agency to support them when they showcase at India Fashion Week in Dubai on the 4th and 5th of September at Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Katch has also handled clients such as Doctors Without Borders, DJ Bliss, Cavalli Club, Restaurant & Lounge, Cirque Le Soir, People by Cyrstal, Mahiki Dubai, supperclub Dubai, Boutiq at the Address Hotel, Dubai Events and Promotions establishment for Dubai Shopping Festival’s Biggest; Make-up Sampling in association with Paris Gallery, Fashion Forward shows for Rani Zakhem and Tahir Sultan, Hema Kaul, Karen K, Daloo3a, Harpers Bazaar’s Fashion Fortnight Model Behaviour, Health Factory, Bo House Café, Cucina Mia, Nude Audio, O Cacti, The Champagne Club, Empire Gulf International, and ‘Not On Our Watch’, a humanitarian charity founded by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Jerry Weintraub, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle and David Pressman. Katch International has also had the privilege of organizing Canada Day International, the biggest festival in Central London, which saw more than 90,000 attendees.
