KSA’s wage protection system to cover firms with over 100 workers from Jan 2015

The third phase of Saudi Arabia’s wage protection system now covers firms with over 1,000 workers, Arab News has reported. The first phase stared on September 1, 2013, for companies with over 3,000 workers and private schools, while the second phase came into effect on December 1 for companies with over 2,000 workers. The fourth phase is to start in July for firms with over 500 workers and the fifth phase in October for firms with over 200 employees. From January next year, firms with over 100 employees will be covered by the system.
