MBRCH honours Dubai Municipality

Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Est. has extended its valued appreciation to Dubai Municipality for its cooperation and support in the field of humanitarian and charity works carried out by MBRCH and the cooperation between both parties in the rehabilitation project of used computer refurbishment center.

The honouring was held in the presence of Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, director general of Dubai Municipality, Bou Malha, adviser of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for humanitarian and cultural affairs and vice chairman of MBRCH’s board of trustees and Mr. Khalid Zayed, assistant director general of DM, where Bou Malha presented the shield and certificate to the DM top officials.

Bou Malha said: ‘This visit to honour Dubai Municipality comes within the strategic plan of MBRCH to honour its partners who provide constant support in the field of charity and humanitarian activities to help needy people from different parts of the world.

‘Through the cooperation with the civic body since 2007 we could refurbish around 18,000 used computers collected from government and private organisations and distribute it to 150 educational and charity organizations in the UAE and 47 institution outside the country,’ he said.

During the visit both parties discussed the ways to enhance social services and effectively participate in more charity projects with the aim to help needy people around the world.

Lootah praised the efforts of MBRCH and extended DM’s sincere thanks to them for the honour and said that we are proud to be the partner of MBRCH in many humanitarian initiatives for a long time.
