Oman’s January exports hit OR1.8bn

Official figures released by the Omani government indicate the value of the sultanate’s exports, which includes oil and gas, non-oil products and re-exports, totalled OR1.77bn in January, a decline of 8.1% compared with OR1.92bn a year ago, Muscat Daily has reported. The data also show an 8.2% drop in oil and gas exports in January 2014 to OR1.17bn, from OR1.27bn in January last year. During the same period, the total value of re-exports fell by 21.9%, recording re-exports of OR249.1m in January against the total of OR319.1m a year earlier.
