Oman’s long- and short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings have been affirmed by Standards & Poor’s Ratings Services at A/A-1, with a ‘Stable’ outlook, Muscat Daily has reported. The ratings are supported by Oman’s strong net external and general government asset positions and prudent investment policies, the agency said. “The stable outlook balances our expectation that Oman’s strong fiscal and external stock positions will be maintained, against risks from weakening economic income, fiscal and external flows,” it said.
