SAP appoints David Brierley as Head of Business Analytics MENA, with MENA Business Analytics Market Reaching USD 217 Million in 2013
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – January 5, 2015 – The Middle East and North Africa (MENA)’s business analytics market growth is outpacing the global average, according to SAP’s newly appointed Head of Business Analytics MENA.
The Business Intelligence and Analytics market in MENA increased by 11 percent from USD 196 million in 2012 to USD 217 million in 2013, outpacing the global growth rate, according to Gartner, Inc.
SAP is the region’s leading Business Analytics vendor, holding 27.2 percent of the Business Intelligence and Analytics software market in 2013, according to Gartner, Inc. From 2012 to 2013, SAP increased its MENA revenue in the field by 16.7 percent from USD 51 million to USD 59 million.
