SIDA pledges $4.2m to support job creation for Egyptian women

The Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) has said it is to contribute SEK27m ($4.18m) to support the creation of 500,000 new jobs for Egyptian women, Daily News Egypt has reported. The initiative will provide support for women at an individual level, which will include including capacity-building for female entrepreneurs and assistance in acquiring jobs, said the Swedish embassy in Cairo.
