A new gallery space, Fann-à-Porter, has been launched at the Kempinski Hotel in Mall of the Emirates, which promises to showcase the works of different regional and international artists every month, apart from its own collection.

Ghada Kunash, founder and general manager at Fann-à-Porter, says: “Dubai has established itself as a city where people love and appreciate art – the gallery has been launched to provide consumers with fresh and affordable pieces from some of the young and leading contemporary artists today.  We welcome everyone to our gallery and look forward to making an impact on an exciting market by encouraging both young artists and the collectors alike. Leading artists are also featured in our art calendar giving their support and leverage to creative youngsters.”

Fann-à-Porter’s first exhibition, entitled Chanting of the Earth, was inaugurated under the patronage of Saqer M Al Shattal Al Nuaimee, Consul General of Jordan in Dubai, and will feature the work of Jordanian artist, Hazem Al Zubi.
