Volkswagen Oman announces partnership with Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club

Wattayah Motors, the official distributor of Volkswagen in Oman has announced a year-long partnership with the Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club. The partnership will see the Club play host to the Volkswagen PowerPlay Championship later this month, and also included the handover of co-branded vehicles for use by the club.

Volkswagen Oman has long been a steadfast supporter of golf in the Sultanate, and as part of this year-long agreement, Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club will host nine golf tournaments – eight qualifying games and the finals of the Volkswagen PowerPlay Championship in September 2015. The club has also been provided with co-branded vehicles to use for the duration of 2015. The partnership underlines the German brand’s ongoing commitment towards contributing to the growth of competitive sports such as Golf in the Sultanate.

Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club is a truly unique golf development, comprising an 18-hole PGA-certified green golf course and a high quality residential development on the outskirts of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

Volkswagen Oman has long been associated with the sport of golf both in Oman. Late last year, Volkswagen Oman also supported the Oman Golf Committee (OGC) and sponsored the Junior Golf team after they returned from a summer training camp at the Volkswagen Golf Arena in Sweden.
