The world looks to the Saudi gold market as it is the fourth-largest market in the world in terms of gold consumption, and the first in the Arab region. It accounts for a third of the demand in the Middle East, and the main engine behind the rest of the GCC markets. In Qatar alone, Saudi Arabia’s share of gold is about 80 per cent, according to media reports from Doha.

Fiera di Vicenza, the exhibition organizer, has chosen L’Azurde as a strategic partner in order to establish the most luxurious and prestigious exhibition of jewelry in the Gulf region and the Middle East, under the name of “Vicenzaoro Dubai.” Fiera di Vicenza in collaboration with L’Azurde has organized roadshows about “Vicenzaoro Dubai” which was held on three consecutive days in February 2015 in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.

The roadshows focused on introducing the exhibition which will be held in Dubai from the 23rd to the 26th of April 2015, where more than 700 exhibitors from 40 countries around the world will be participating.

The exhibition will shed light on the latest developments in the gold industry, and share ideas on how to gain great advantages and growth in the Middle East’s gold market. It will also focus on providing solutions for the needs of gold buyers in the region and their different requirements and tastes.

Fiera di Vicenza aims to attract traders, investors, importers, and designers of gold in Saudi Arabia to their exhibition, which will be held in Dubai, in line with L’Azurde’s strategy to support and develop the gold industry in Saudi Arabia, as it is one of the pioneers in the gold and jewelry market in the kingdom. L’Azurde was keen to organize and invite a large number of traders and individuals to the exhibition “Vicenzaoro Dubai.” They also aim to provide an economic and cultural bridge between gold dealers in the kingdom and the participants from around the world. L’Azurde also proves its leadership regionally and globally by continuing to reflect the concept of modern jewelry, and meet the unique and elegant needs of their customers.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Ayman Al Haffar, Executive General Manager of L’Azurde said: “L’Azurde’s strategy aims to strengthen its position in the global gold market by working to develop its brand to compete with other brands on a global level, thanks to our experience of over 30 years.” He added: “Fiera di Vicenza’s choice of L’Azurde to organize their roadshow goes beyond the stage of commercial cooperation, as the two companies look at it as a strategic partnership between two countries’ economies which will result in great developments in the gold industry in Italy and Saudi Arabia.”

Emmanuel Judy, the representative of the Italian company Vieira de Vicenza for the roadshows held in Saudi Arabia, expressed his happiness of the different encounters he had, which included elite businessmen, investors, and designers of gold in Saudi Arabia. He also praised L’Azurde’s strategic role in gathering all these individuals under one roof in the three major cities.

He said: “Fiera di Vicenza believes in the importance of the participation of the Saudi market in the exhibition ‘Vicenzaoro Dubai’. Saudi Arabia’s share in the Arab region’s jewelry market has reached 35 per cent. Due to this, Fiera di Vicenza’s entry in this market and introducing its exhibition is considered another success for L’Azurde for its role in building bridges of communication between Italian companies and the Saudi gold market.”
