In pictures: Vacheron Constantin unveils bespoke watches in Dubai
Vacheron Constantin, one of the oldest haute horlogerie manufacture showed the world, from Dubai, a sneak peek of the sophisticated timepieces it produces in its bespoke department, Atelier Cabinotiers.
The timepieces of the mini-collection, which first arrived to the brand’s boutique at The Dubai Mall are:
A high jewellery unique timepiece, certified by the Hallmark of Geneva, highlights the delicate craft of gem-setting, as it features a entirely hand-crafted invisible setting of 398 baguette diamonds and 36 yellow diamond, totaling approximately 19.67 carats.
On the inside, the timepiece is equipped with mechanical hand-wound caliber of 169 parts, with almost two-day power reserve.
Maître Cabinotier 15-Complications Lions
This Grand Complication timepiece highlights the remarkable expertise of the maison, housing 15 challenging complications, highlighting the pride of astronomical functions .
It features a hand-engraved case showcasing four lions on a savannah background. All within a 47mm diameter, 19.1mm thick, 18 carat 5N pink gold case.
Traditionnelle Calibre 2755: Engraved With “ORNEMENTAL FEATHERS”
Belonging to the Traditionnelle collection, this timepiece is inspired by the aesthetic codes defining historic creations from Vacheron Constantin.
It houses a hand-wound calibre, combining a tourbillon, a perpetual calendar and a minute repeater, in addition to a 58-hours power displayed on a bridge on the back of the movement.
The case, bezel and lugs of this timepiece are hand-engraved with ornemental feathers, which contribute to the thousands of hours taken to produce timepiece of 44 mm-diameter case in 18K 5N pink gold.
A silvered opaline dial adorned with 18K pink gold applied to the hour-markers, and an 18K pink gold triple-blade folding clasp shaped like a half Maltese cross hugs the wearer’s wrist.
The dedicated bespoke services department has, established in 2006, has been reviving the origins of the brand, by producing unique timepieces to its elite clientele.
