Round Table Pizza, an American pizza restaurant icon known for gourmet quality and fresh innovation has opened its second restaurant in Bahrain in partnership with Al Mahroos Foods.

The restaurant is located within Sultan Mall in Zayed Town and caters to dine in, take-out and delivery customers. The restaurant is designed with an open plan view and features a Dough Theatre which allows guests to observe the process for preparing hand-rolled dough made fresh every day at each restaurant.

The opening of the second restaurant was attended by Mike Buck, Director of International Operations for Round Table Pizza, Inc. “It is a pleasure to be back in Bahrain just one month after attending the opening ceremony for the first Round Table Pizza in December. The response so far is very promising and we are working closely with Al Mahroos Foods to further our customer reach in Bahrain as well as entering the neighbouring markets of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait”.

Commenting during the opening ceremony, Ali Ghali, Co-Founder of Al Mahroos Foods said “we have a range of new menu items in the works ranging from breakfast to desserts. Some of the new menu items will incorporate local Bahraini and Gulf flavours and we will work with local producers such as vendors from the Bahrain Farmers Market to incorporate their produce into our supply chain. Our aim is to build upon Round Table Pizza’s legacy of using fresh ingredients and one way is to work with ‘Grown in Bahrain’ produce”.

A third Round Table Pizza branch in Bahrain is currently under development at Gardens Plaza, Budaiya.
