Despite tough economic environment, the premium goods and services industry posted strong growth last year by crossing €1 trillion in sales.

 

However, with low oil prices and economic diversification in the Gulf region new business models are replacing the old ones. Industry insiders say that the GCC region is entering an era of “The New Normal”.

 

Third edition of the annual arab luxury world – the conference on the business of luxury – will examine what this “New Normal” means for the luxury sector in the wider Middle East in general, and GCC in particular.

 

Organized by Mediaquest, GMR/Communicate’s parent organization, the two-day conference will begin on June 1, 2016, and will dissect all facets of the industry in complete depth in more than 30 panel discussions and presentations.

 

Once registered through www.arabluxuryworld.com, the participants will get a chance to hear views of more than 100 regional and international experts on subjects such as retail, digital strategies, luxury marketing, data management, etc.

 

In 2015, some 750 people assembled along with 80 media persons to listen to 140 speakers at the second edition of arab luxury world. The third edition is expected to be much larger and elaborate in its approach.”
