Arab luxury world and INSEAD collaboration for the Global Start-up Bootcamp
This two-day Global Start-up Bootcamp will bring together entrepreneurs, investors and industry professionals from luxury, retail, fashion, art, and lifestyle, and technology sectors
Arab luxury world (Alw), the conference on the business of luxury in the Middle East – organized by Mediaquest Corp – has joined hands with the INSEAD Middle East Campus and Digital@INSEAD for the final round of the Global Start-up Bootcamp, taking place on May 6 and 7 at the INSEAD Campus in Abu Dhabi.
This two-day event, sponsored by TAG Heuer and Chalhoub Group, will be attended by a global community of game-changers who are successfully driving digital transformation in the industries related to exceptional customer experiences.
A one-of-its-kind event in the region, the Bootcamp will provide a sustainable business development platform for start-up founders, VC firms and corporate conglomerates in luxury, retail, fashion, art, and lifestyle, and technology sectors.

The Bootcamp nurtures a cross-border exchange of market knowledge, thereby aiming to help early-stage start-ups explore the potential and possibilities of developing their technologies with strategic partners from the Middle East and Europe.
Following the Bootcamp, participants will present their pitches in front of 600-plus professionals at the Alw conference; the final round taking place on May 8.

Some of the best disruptive entrepreneurs from around the world will compete during the Global Start-up Bootcamp.
Carefully pre-selected in cooperation with leading accelerators in London, Paris, New York, and Hong Kong, 25 finalists have proved outstanding potential and motivation to develop their technologies in the Middle East.
Alcméon, Blippar, BLUMENLAB, EuroPass, INDUO, Gowento, Returnado, Stockly and Capsule 3D are the top teams from Paris.
Actiff, Mercaux, Metix, Riviter, Sampler, Talkin Things and Veed Studio have made it to the final round from London.
Finalists from New York include Dropel, Radar, Style Lend, along with COVE Drive and Goxip from Hong Kong.
Touching on perennial issues
The Bootcamp will also touch upon some of the most important topics of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, such as looking at the start-up scene in the Middle East and key success factors for the entrance of the regional market.
This will be followed by a series of presentations and panel discussions on the best practices on business incorporation and development in the Middle East.
