Edelman signs Bidaya as official representative in Jordan
Edelman, the world’s largest public relations firm, has signed Bidaya Corporate Communications as its exclusive affiliate in Jordan, making it an official representative of its global network in the country.
Bidaya specialises in public relations and event management across 12 sectors, including investment; real estate and banking; energy and mining; tourism, hospitality and leisure; education; aviation; automotive; ICT; and healthcare and pharmaceuticals, in addition to luxury brands, among many others.
“Over the course of the past few years, we have come to know and admire Bidaya’s commitment to helping clients build engaging relationships with the public. Bidaya gives us a high-quality partner in a key market, which further establishes our presence and ability to serve clients seamlessly across the MENA region,” Robert Holdheim, CEO of Edelman South Asia, Middle East and Africa, said.
Established in 2004, Bidaya now claims to be the largest public relations agency in Jordan. In addition to its original specialty, it also offers consultancy on strategic content, social media and digital marketing.
“Edelman’s selection of our agency as its exclusive affiliate in Jordan is an acknowledgement of how far we have come and of our hard work in making a name for ourselves not only in Jordan, but across the region,” Jumana Twal, CEO of Bidaya Corporate Communications, said.
“With the support of Edelman’s expertise and its expansive network of resources across the world, I am looking forward to taking Bidaya to the next level, offering even more of the client-centric and cutting-edge services we are known for,” Twal added.
Bidaya is also a member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and the first Jordanian agency to become a full member of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA).
Originally American, Edelman has been quite active in the MENA region. Last year, the firm acquired UAE-based agency Dabo & Co and kick-started 2016 by announcing new leadership for the Gulf country and the region.
