Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates have been further strengthening their ties in the past few years and the united efforts have trickled down from government officials to entertainers in other industries.

This is evident with the launch of FoodAddict, a television program produced in the Middle East, with an aim to highlight Malaysian cuisine in the region.

The TV show, which airs on Zee TV Middle East, is produced and hosted by Zenofar Fathima, a Dubai resident and the CEO of Zen Productions.

“Malaysia is certainly known for its unique wonders, attractions, cuisine and cultures. Certainly, when it comes to food, Malaysia is the best of Asia on a platter,” Fathima says.

“I often come across so many guests from the Middle East in Malaysia who are looking at exploring different cuisines and seek certain suggestions and recommendations. The show will do just that – try to bring about the best that is there in each of the delicacies,” she adds.

At an event held in Dubai to celebrate the launch of the show last week, it was revealed that part of the show will focus on healthy eating habits, which will be explained by Indian model-turned-actor Rahul Dev.
