‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales’ is a powerful new tool that better understands customer needs, engages more effectively, and wins more deals by empowering sales teams to engage with actionable insights from Dynamics 365, LinkedIn, and Office 365.

AMEinfo asked Keith Fenner, Dynamics 365 Business Group Director, Microsoft Middle East & Africa, about this.

What type of actionable insights from Dynamics 365 integrated with LinkedIn, and Office 365 can be acquired and how?

Fenner said:

“The workplace has undergone a massive transformation. Growing volumes of data offer the promise of greater insights but accessing it and making it actionable can be nearly impossible.

“Microsoft Dynamics 365 is designed to guide employees to the next action to take, whether it’s directly with customers or on the shop floor.  Process guidance empowers every employee with best practices for how to do the job most effectively. Dynamics 365’s Customer Insights allows you to understand your customers more completely, and better engage them through actionable discoveries. Used with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, Dynamics 365 can transform data into timely, relevant information and predictions that help businesses succeed by making smarter decisions, creating rich visualizations and empowering their employees.

“Office 365 is infused seamlessly into business processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365.  The familiar, easy-to-use productivity tools that employees’ use every day are surfaced in the context of business applications (managing a sales pipeline in Excel, directly in the context of Dynamics 365 for Sales) so employees stay in the context of the task they are performing. And Advanced Analytics, based on Cortana Intelligence and Power BI, are natively embedded within Dynamics 365 business applications to empower employees to be more data-driven and guide them to optimal outcomes which drive business success.

“Microsoft Dynamics 365 delivers a modern user experience that works across devices and platforms and is inherently designed to work how people work. By unifying the selling experience by combining with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, it empowers sellers to drive more personalized and meaningful engagement with buyers and foster relationships and grow their business faster.”

What are the seamless tools that Dynamics 365 for Sales uses to ensure optimal seller productivity?

According to Fenner:

“In the new world of ‘Relationship Selling’, seamless integration and applied machine learning make a real difference. Customers expect a personalized sales experience in the context of how they choose to engage with a product or service.  Dynamics 365 for Sales empowers sellers with the insights, guidance and the tools to drive personal engagement with their customers.

“Dynamics 365 Sales also gives sellers a 360-degree view of all customer engagements to deliver personalized, contextual interactions regardless of how and when the customer chooses to connect with the company across sales, customer service, marketing, field service or finance. It also enables companies to create effortless, outcome-driven experiences for customers by harnessing the power of advanced analytics, and AI so you can predict what your customers want before they even know it.

“Successful sales leaders use technology to build profitable relationships. And the right solution can help by streamlining key stages in the sales process: finding the right opportunities, using insights to nurture leads, closing deals when customers are ready to buy and leveraging AI and data to sell at scale.

“For example, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts leveraged data from its customer loyalty programme using Microsoft Dynamics 365 to reinvent its entire marketing campaign process. Normally organizations start by creating a marketing message – a discount, sale, or voucher promotion – and only then do they segment their data for targeted communication. Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts took targeting to a new level by first building 360-degree profiles of each loyalty-scheme member, tracking everything from phone calls to portal logins. Dynamics 365 allowed the hotelier to merge this data with that of its booking system. The rich insights gained enabled Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts to craft marketing messages uniquely suited to each of its customers, increasing the effectiveness of its campaigns.

“Also, Dubai-based Majid Al Futtaim Ventures adopted Microsoft Dynamics 365 along with Office 365, Power BI, SharePoint Online and Delve, in an effort to engage customers more effectively and optimize internal efficiencies across the group’s many business units. Powered by advanced analytics and machine learning, Dynamics 365 brings together the most advanced suite of AI capabilities ever seen in a business application. MAF Ventures used the commerce platform to form a single view of its customers and deliver powerful, informative profiles of these customers to employees, empowering them to provide enhanced, personalized experiences. At the group level, Majid Al Futtaim was able to launch an effective loyalty programme that encompassed multiple brands.”
