Video: Is Facebook getting into online dating? It already broke some hearts!

US tech companies are the focus of this week with big earnings and major events. Facebook revealed plans for a new, opt-in dating feature. Match, the world’s biggest online dating site, plunged a record 22% on the news. Bloomberg’s Ramy Inocencio reports on “Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia.”

On the news that Facebook has plans to go into competition with Match, the world’s biggest dating platform companies was not in a business mood to discuss their plight, as  its shares plunged .

After a controversial year for Facebook, why would someone give more data to Facebook for its “online dating” project?

Data for dating? How would it work?  Do you have to “unfriend” to take someone on a date?
