Makkah Newspaper, one of the oldest newspapers in KSA formerly called Al Nadwa Newspaper, has completed a reconstruction and modernization program through the implementation of NewsPress, the latest editorial and workflow software.

NewsPress enables Makkah Newspaper to automate the publishing cycle through advanced and organized workflow processes. Editors, department heads, sub-editors, correctors, production teams, chief editors and designers are now able to log on to a single centralized server to process all their daily tasks.

In addition, NewsPress with its flexible range of modules including mobile apps and archiving solutions, helps in reducing costs, eliminating mistakes and duplication, improving communication, adding speed and ensuring accuracy together with high performance.

“We are delighted that Makkah has deployed NewsPress solution. Several years of research and development have made NewsPress the easiest and most effective workflow solution in the market, able to connect different offices and more than 500 users into one platform for a collaborative work process” said Mr. Jean-Michel Habis, General Manager at Layout International.
