Tamkeen’s “Discover Life After School” Publication to be distributed in Oasis Malls
Tamkeen in cooperation with Al-Rashid Group (ARG) will be distributing its publication “Discover Life After School” in the two ARG-owned malls in Bahrain, Oasis Mall Muharraq and Oasis Mall Riffa.
Tamkeen published the inaugural issue in 2011 as part of its “Discover Life at Work” campaign.
The campaign, which targeted high school and university students between the ages of 15 and 26, highlighted opportunities within different economic sectors and entrepreneurship, as well as providing study and career advice and promoting positive practices in school, work, and life in general.
Tamkeen’s Vice-President for Human Capital Development, Mrs. Amal Al-Kooheji, commented, “The issue is the first Arabic-language publication of its kind that focuses on topics that concern high school students to fresh university graduates. The content is designed to inspire a culture of excellence and innovation within this critical age group, paving the way for students to become the leaders of tomorrow and active contributors in national economic development.”
Now in its 12th issue, the publication has been well-received by Bahrain’s youth as a valuable resource for information that helps them build their future during school and after graduation. The publication uses illustrative success stories of young Bahraini students, employees, and entrepreneurs, as well as informative articles and interviews with thought leaders and decision makers on the latest developments in the job market and business world.
70,000 copies of the “Discover Life After School” publication are printed. An electronic version is also available on Tamkeen’s website (www.tamkeen.bh).
