Bank Nizwa wins Best Islamic Bank in Oman Award

Bank Nizwa brought home the highly coveted ‘Best bank in Oman’ award from the Islamic Finance News (IFN) Awards ceremony which took place recently at the Ritz Carlton Dubai International Finance Centre.

The glittering award ceremony paid homage to the best banks across the region and was attended by the world’s top Islamic financial institutions as well as law firms and rating agencies. Bank Nizwa was given exclusive rankings for playing a pioneering role in the development of Islamic finance and banking in the Sultanate.

Bank Nizwa’s exceptional growth story since its launch in January 2013, was a key factor in winning the category. The bank was also praised for the innovation it has shown through its expansion program as well as the significant investment it has made in its technology.
