Jordan Ahli Bank’s SME Academy holds workshop on valuation

As part of its free training program for the year 2013, Jordan Ahli Bank’s Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Academy recently held a training workshop on the concept of ‘Valuation’ at Amman Sheraton Hotel.

The workshop strove to define the process of valuation, and to familiarize attendees with commonly practiced valuation methods.

Furthermore, it also shed light on free cash flow concepts, while also introducing the Weight Average Cost of Capital (WACC) index, and methods used for the calculation of terminal value, the verification of results, and the dilution of shares.

The training session targeted entrepreneurs, SME founders, finance managers, operations managers, investment and financial analysis, and others working within the SME segment whether forming part of the bank’s existing and potential client base.
