National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) has said it plans to expand by about 20% corporate loans in Latin America in 2014, Bloomberg has reported. Abu Dhabi’s largest lender will boost lending and offer other types of products to Latin American companies that do business in countries the bank considers a priority, including those in the Far East, Middle East and Africa, said the bank’s chief representative in Brazil, Angela Martins. “Since we did many deals with banks in 2013, this year we plan to focus more on companies,” Martins said.
