TAKAUD’s ‘Need to Save’ roadshow continues in Bahrain
TAKAUD, the specialist savings and pensions provider for the MENA region, is pleased to announce that its next roadshow, as part of its public awareness campaign to educate and encourage the local community to save, will be in Bahrain’s Ramli Mall from May 22nd – 31st 2014.
TAKAUD’s savings and pensions experts will be available at their exhibition stand to provide the public with information on simple savings and pensions solutions, which will enable them to plan and save for major life events, future aspirations and associated expenses. These include children’s education, new home purchases, starting a business, unexpected emergencies as well as having the resources in place to fund retirement in later years.
Highlighting the critical need to save, 30% of MENA citizens save nothing on a monthly basis, with large percentages of the GCC’s population concerned about pensions and future income in later years; according to published surveys. To protect the financial health of families and their children in later years, people need to begin saving now on a regular basis to plan for and secure a comfortable future.
At its exhibition stand, TAKAUD will be providing complimentary savings guidance, illustrations and supporting literature to all attendees which will be an invaluable source of information to help individuals and families understand the importance of financial planning to support future needs and aspirations.
TAKAUD’s Acting CEO, Mr. Eric Van Biesen, said, “As a region, we are not saving enough on a monthly basis. Saving for later life is something we all know we should be doing but it can easily slip to the bottom of the priority list and this is the tendency that has to change. TAKAUD is helping create the savings culture and making it a way of life in the MENA region.”
He added, “We encourage as many people as possible to come and meet the TAKAUD team at Ramli Mall and discuss all of our savings options. Our mission is to provide everyone with simple and affordable savings solutions which start from just BD25 per month and which will help create and secure a financial ‘nest egg’ for later years.”
