Warba Bank launches new “Murabaha Express” service

Warba Bank has launched its new “Murabaha Express” service to customers which follows the efforts of the finance department in continuing to always provide special services to customers in the personal finance sector. The service assists customers in owning the products that they would like to buy in accordance to Shariah law and personal finance regulation.

Head of Personal Financing Waleed Al-Musallam said: “This new service “Murabaha Express” is the first of its kind in the personal finance banking sector in Kuwait, and which is also Shariah compliant. It saves customers the time and effort of selling goods by transforming the final sales from the merchant account to the customer account directly, and within just a few minutes in the case of the completion of this sales transaction in collaboration with a local certified merchant to buy goods. On behalf of the customer, Warba Bank will sell the goods and products to one of the merchants and deposit the total sum of sales into the account of the customer. This service is considered optional for customers as they can use the traditional Islamic banking method by giving the customer a delivery notice to receive his products directly from local suppliers, or they can use the new service.”

Al-Musallam also commented that there are many purposes for the new products and services launched for customers in the area of personal finance which will have positive tangible affect on the quality of these products and customer services at the same time. Some of these will be announced at a laterstage as this will be a leading service in the area of personal finance which are also in line with the provisions of Shariah-law.

Al Musallam said that most of the products available in the personal finance sector for individuals in Islamic banks have one objective: the true measurement of real, quality service and customer satisfaction which is achieved by providing quality services which achieves the maximum benefits for customers in this area. Hence, Warba Bank always seeks to elevate the quality of services that they provide to customers in terms of personal finance.

It is worth noting that although Warba Bank is relatively new, by God’s will and through the employees’ efforts, it has managed to create exceptional products and services that cater to individuals across the personal finance sector.
