Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations supports Emiratization with UAE’s largest nursery chain British Orchard Nursery

British Orchard Nursery, UAE’s largest and first ISO certified nursery chain inaugurated its new facility at ADCO premises in Abu Dhabi in the presence of Ms. Moza Salem Shoumi, Director of Child Department-Ministry of Social Affairs, Mr. Abul Munim Saif Al-Kindy, CEO, ADCO; Mr. Saleh Aidrous Al Wahedi, Sr. Vice President of ADCO; Mr. Hussain Sultan Lootah, Sr. Vice President, ADCO and other ADCO management dignitaries along with British Orchard Nursery’s CEO Ms. Vandana Gandhi.

British Orchard Nursery (BON) follows the British National Curriculum under Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) guidelines. Recently having won a Feigenbaum Leadership Excellence Award and TQM Award, British Orchard Nursery has pioneered the concept of corporate franchising by forming partnerships with many Government institutions in the UAE which includes Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, Dubai Women’s College. Besides these, BON has branches in Bur Dubai, Jumeirah, JBR, Dubai

Media City, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The nursery caters to children from six months of age to over four years.

The Nursery facilities include comprehensive creative spaces that offers role play and develops children’s social and imaginative skills; soft play; swimming pools; construction area where children recreate real life events and situations; a library, a water play area where they can develop

Understanding of challenging concepts in a ‘hands on capacity’; sand area to explore scientific and mathematical concepts; messy play or painting area to develop creativity; grass area etc. The school offers Arabic lessons, ballet, and gym lessons as well as computer classes.

During the inauguration ceremony, the commemorative ribbon was cut by Chief Guest Ms. Moza Salem Shoumi-Director of Child Ministry of Social Affairs alongside Mr. Abdel-Munim Saif Al-Kindy-CEO, ADCO in the presence of senior officials from ADCO and the nursery school.

Mr. Abdul-Munim Saif Al-Kindy, CEO, ADCO said “This nursery reassures of our commitment to implement the company philosophy to the resolution and the expression of our working women.
