Aldara Medical Corporation progresses to advanced stage of Aldara Hospital and Medical Center construction

Aldara Medical Corporation announces the appointment of the UK construction and support services company Carillion to undertake the execution of the complex Phase II construction of Aldara Hospital and Medical Center, comprising superstructure and fit out for the facility.

The new facility will house a state of the art hospital and the largest outpatient center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Upon completion, it will encompass some of the most advanced medical and information technologies in the world.

Carillion is a leading construction and international support services company bringing unrivalled healthcare experience to the project. Carillion has delivered over 20 technically advanced major hospitals and healthcare facilities. Carillion has also operated in the Middle East for nearly 50 years and has extensive experience of delivering and managing construction projects in the Region.

Phase I substructure construction was executed by Saudi Tarouk and is currently 94% complete. Phase II pre-mobilizing work has already begun. During the Phase II construction, Carillion will work hand in hand with Aldara’s engineering team, the international project manager Faithful & Gould- (a member of the Atkins Group of Companies) and the leading designers HOK and Hobbs & Black.

Aldara Hospital and Medical Center is collaborating with a world-renowned U.S. health care system to implement best practices related to both patient care and administrative processes. The new facility is strategically–located in Riyadh on Al Takhassusi Street, near King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center and Al Faisal University. Built to address a growing demand for high-quality health care in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia along with the wider GCC region, Aldara Hospital and Medical Center will offer western-quality medical care at prices comparable to local reimbursement rates. Aldara Hospital and Medical Center will recruit world class US board certified physicians and staff both locally, regionally, and from the United States.
