Aster to build three new hospitals in UAE

Dubai-based Aster DM Healthcare has announced it is to build three hospitals in the UAE with a total 270-bed capacity, to ensure better access to quality health care, Gulf News has reported. The first and second hospitals, which will be built in Dubai, are an 85-bed hospital at Mankhool, Bur Dubai, and a 75-bed specialised mother and child hospital on Sheikh Zayed Road. The third hospital, a 110-bed Medcare Hospital in Sharjah, is near completion and will open soon, said chairman and managing director of the group, Dr Azad Moopen.
