CPC wins Arabian Business CSR Achievement Award 2014 for the 3rd consecutive year in Saudi Arabia

Construction Products Holding Co. (CPC) was recognized with Arabian Business Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Achievement Award 2014 for the third consecutive year in terms of Saudi organizations.

The award was received by Faysal Alaquil, Chief of Corporate Social Responsibility and Director of Business Development at CPC, at a ceremony held in Alfaysaliah Hotel in Riyadh with the attendance of Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdurrahman Alzamil and a number of Saudi businessmen.

The award recognizes the commitment of CPC to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability) as seen in the many community outreach programs the company has initiated, supported and sponsored.

On this occasion, Alaquil said, “Since its establishment, CPC has been determined to present its CSR Program as a role-model in all aspects, especially in terms of education, human resources and the environment by launching several initiatives and activities that address these focus-areas which are relevant to many members of the Saudi society.”

He added “CPC managed to provide a new concept of “Sustainable Development” which is based on given the opportunity for the people of this country to get the highest levels of training and rehabilitation to take various jobs in order to reduce the unemployment rate, as well as creating new employment opportunities.”
