Dubai Municipality completes Birds and Pets Market

In tune with the vision of HH Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President & Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with regards to the protection of natural resources and to build up green economy, Dubai Municipality has accomplished Birds& Pets market project by 100%.

It was announced by Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality in a statement issued recently.

He said the project which was executed by the assets management department of civic body reflects its commitment towards creating an excellent city that is characterized with sustainable environment.

According to him, the market is situated in an area of total 45 hectors in Warsan 3 area.

A perfect housing for pets trade and related business, the market will also serve as the meeting place for pet lovers, he explained.

Lootah said the market will become one of the leading of its kind in regional and global level given the variety of services and facilities it offers.

It will be hosting competitions, exhibitions, workshops for public regarding pet breeding and other educational programs in occasions, he said.

He said, the market has four commercial complexes and is having 80 shops.

Auction halls, veterinary clinic, restaurants, cafeteria, quarantine, hotel for dogs& cats, and many other facilities are available in the market, he added
