First Aid training conducted for Park Inn Muscat’s Head of Departments

First Aid training for Head of Departments at Park Inn Muscat.

Park Inn Muscat hotel conducted an 8-hour course First Aid training for all the Head of Departments (employees) that teaches how to identify, understands, and responds to signs incidents.

The training tackles the principles of first aid, preserve life, prevent deterioration of casualties, and promote recovery.

Immediate response, vital signs, unresponsive casualty, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, chocking, recovery position, heart attack, treatment for heart attack, shock, how to identify the signs and symptoms of shock internal bleeding, epilepsy, external bleeding, sprain and strain, burns, poisoning and heat stress are the subjects also tackled during the training.

All participants have received a first aid manual certification from Safety Technical Services Co. Ltd trainer; Issam Al Balushi. The Park Inn Muscat’s Head of Departments were given the information and to get familiar with first aid and how to help someone when such incident occurs.

“In some occurrences, we cannot guarantee always a professional person available on site and people often don’t know how to respond. This training has prepared us to respond as assistance by knowing the basic steps. My team doing their everyday manager on duty will prepare them for such situations. My team also at Park Inn Duqm are scheduled for the First Aid training by next month to ensure that basic assistance are implemented.” says Rabih Zein, cluster general manager for Park Inn Muscat & Duqm.
