Fujairah Hospital opens new dialysis centre

The government of Fujairah has announced the opening of a new dialysis centre at the Fujairah Hospital, Khaleej Times has reported. Built at a cost of Dhs11m by the Majid Al Futtaim Charity Foundation, in cooperation and coordination with the health ministry, the centre has 18 dialysis state-of-the-art machines, which use the hemodiafiltration method, the most modern technique in dialysis in the world. The centre has two isolation rooms, clinics, offices and a lecture auditorium, and is manned by a director, three doctors, 18 male and female nurses and two dialysis technicians.
