Hult International Business School, recently ranked in the top 1% of Business Schools worldwide by The Financial Times and The Economist, has developed several initiatives at its five global campuses, including Dubai, to create synergy between corporate employers and its students.

Even in the region’s booming job market, innovative career services are essential to student success after graduation. Many fresh graduates, including those of Hult, fear unemployment after years of study and are looking to their academic institutions for more than just classroom learning.

Students are not just given a valuable education and being equipped with the practical soft skills sought by today’s top employers, but also the support of a top-notch team of career development professionals. In addition, Hult provides employers with direct access to its 2,500 students and 9,000 alumni through is proprietary Hult Talent Solutions program.

Huseyn Charif, Executive Director Corporate Relations, commented: “Our Corporate Relations and Talent Solutions teams were created to make sure we connect our students and Alumni directly with top companies, globally and regionally” He added: “Hult students come from 140 countries, speak 105 languages and cover seniority levels from 23 to 65 years of age – spanning all major industries and functions. This is an incredible pool of talent that our corporate partners are eager to tap into. On average, we secure over 100 interviews per month for Hult students and Alumni.”

An in-class extension of this cooperation with leading companies is the ‘Hult Action Project’, the capstone of the school’s curriculum and final course for the Executive MBA and Master degree programs. The Hult Action Project unites classroom theoretical learning with a practical, real-life business approach to problem solving. Over a period of six to eight weeks students develop a real life consultancy project for a top company where they harness their classroom learning and provide a fresh solution to the subject organization’s innovation or growth challenge.

All parties will come together when the Hult Dubai campus hosts its’ Yearly Career Open Day event on April 3rd, which will see over 40 international companies, including Aramex, Ernst & Young, Emirates NBD and Louis Vuitton, meeting with selected students to discuss career opportunities.
