KSA closes down 100 clinics in January

The Saudi health ministry has said 100 private health clinics in different parts of the kingdom have been shut down in January for various violations, Saudi Gazette has reported. Inspectors also detected 292 violations of the ministry’s regulations by private health firms and pharmacies in different regions of the country during the month. There are 130 hospitals, 2,000 health clinics, and 7,000 pharmacies in the private sector across Saudi Arabia, employing some 98,000 doctors and paramedical staff.
