A Jordanian-Japanese joint venture has announced it has received the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service certification, which opens the door for exporting to Australia, Jordan Times has reported. Nippon Jordan Fertiliser Co, a JV between Jordan Phosphate Mines Co (JPMC), Arab Potash Co (APC), and Japan’s Mitsubishi Corp, had sent earlier about 2,000 tonnes to Australia for testing before obtaining the licence. The JV will send 3,200 metric tonnes this month and 20,000 metric tonnes of its products before the end of the year, it said.
