Oman’s health ministry has announced the launch of the Oman National Stroke Guideline, after two years of collective work by doctors from the Royal Hospital and the British Royal College of Physicians in London (RCP), Times of Oman has reported. The initiative is aimed at improving the quality of care available to those suffering stroke in the sultanate, and would help in standardising the stroke care practices and also positively impact the healthcare staff dealing with stroke patients, and their relatives or other people concerned, said the ministry.
