Inglot, a Polish cosmetics firm, has unveiled plans to have 200 stores by 2020 in the Middle East and open 50 outlets by the end of 2014, Khaleej Times has reported. Pakistan, Egypt and Indonesia are on the list, among others, for this year, chairman Zbyszek Inglot told the daily. “We open more or less one or two stores per week somewhere in the world and we receive 7-10 application every day across the world,” Inglot said. “The Middle East market is one of the biggest markets outside Poland. The region contributes nearly seven per cent of our total revenues and expected to be in double-digit in a year,” the chairman said. Under the Middle East expansion plan, the UAE will get 12 new stores. With nine existing stores, the country will have 21 stores by the end of 2014. Saudi Arabia is another big and important market in the region, he said.
