Qatar’s Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has announced all hospitals and primary healthcare centres in the country will have to implement the Health Service Performance Agreement (HSPA) from April 1, 2014, with a grace period until March 31, 2015, Gulf Times has reported. The HSPA will enable the healthcare providers to use a common framework for measurement and assessment of the accurate and regular collection of data. It also makes it mandatory for all the hospitals and primary healthcare centres to report regularly to the SCH on a selected set of comprehensive and balanced performance indicators.
