Teach For Qatar, a non-governmental organisation that re-invests young talent in the public education system, has joined hands with the Supreme Education Council (SEC), Qatar Petroleum (QP), and Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) to train youth to become teachers, the Peninsula has reported. “Teach For Qatar, alongside our partners, is seeking young people, academic achievers, and talented professionals to become transformational leaders in the classroom and the community,” said TFQ chairperson, Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani. TFQ attracts young leaders from various backgrounds and specialisations, provides them with rigorous training, and then places them as teachers in independent schools across Qatar for a two-year fellowship.
