Samsung Electronics Levant sponsors Ayman Dais Academy for Basketball
Samsung Electronics Levant, a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies, announced its sponsorship of Ayman Dais Academy basketball little league, where the league included twelve teams from the ages of 3 to 13 years.
The league aims to train children on the sport of basketball, to create a generation of professional players starting from a young age and instill the values of team spirit and encourage children to participate and play.
Mr. Fadi Abu Shamat, Sr. Manager Head of Retail & Corporate marketing at Samsung Electronics Levant, commented by saying: “We at Samsung Electronics Levant value such sponsorships, due to the responsibility that rests upon the companies and their vital role in making a positive change. Not to mention training young generations that exude positive energy and are instilled with team spirit and teamwork”,
“Samsung Electronics chose the sport of basketball, to deepen our interest in the local sports. And we hope that Ayman Dais academy efforts’ will be able to bring back the fans and the love of the game. In addition, we hope through this program the Academy will be able to support and promote the game of basketball at a national level”, he added.
The basketball league, which consists of twelve teams of different ages, will be held through six final games, to honor the distinguished participant players and coaches. It is worth mentioning that Ayman Dais Academy is working on a partnership with internationally recognized organizations and companies to spread basketball in the disadvantaged areas and rural areas across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stemming from its firm belief in social responsibility toward the game of basketball and sports in general in the Jordanian society.
Samsung Electronics supports many sports initiatives globally and in Jordan, as Samsung is the Title sponsor of the annual Amman International Marathon, the official partner of “Generations for Peace” initiative and the partner of the AFC, stemming from Samsung Electronics’ believe in the role of sport and its positive impact on young people in the creation of the collective spirit.
