Sharp to introduce latest educational offerings at GESS 2014

The education industry is on a strong growth trajectory and various educational institutes across the Middle East have now started to embrace a smart learning environment. In line with this trend, Sharp Middle East and Africa today announced its participation at the Middle East’s leading education show, Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions 2014 (GESS).

The show will take place March 4 – 6, 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. During its participation at GESS 2014, Sharp will be showcasing its host of products and solutions that will enable educational institutes to create a more intuitive and collaborative learning environment.

At the event, the company will be previewing its new Intelligent Touch Board for the first time in the region. Sharp will also demonstrate its comprehensive range of Interactive Displays and Ultra HD Displays. Additionally, it will demonstrate its latest solutions that enable educational institutes to manage its properties better. This includes its enhanced Classroom Management software, Digital Notice Board and Classroom Information Manager.

The new Sharp Intelligent Touch Board allows simultaneous writing by up to four users and collaborations with tablet devices. The fitted touch panel of the new product enables high speed touch detection and provides a speedy and smooth writing experience to users due to the improved refresh rate as well as the new pressure sensor pen. Using these enhanced features, teachers can collaborate and communicate with student devices in real time while the multi-touch functionality will enable teachers and students to use the board at the same time.

At the event, Sharp will showcase its new Digital Notice Board. Available in 60″ and 70″, the Digital Notice Board is a powerful, interactive system for managing and sharing information with students and faculty members. Sharp’s enhanced Classroom Management Solution enables educators to efficiently and effectively control a classroom while the Classroom Information Manager is an interactive solution that allows faculties and students to review and modify classroom schedules. The Classroom Information Manager is available in 19.5″ and 24″.
