Tadawul bourse nears 9,000 points, Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Company gains on dividend proposal

The Tadawul All Share Index advanced by 0.46 per cent to 8,970.44 points on Sunday, February 16. Market bellwether SABIC was the most active share by value and surged by 1.34 per cent to SAR113.25. Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Company jumped 2.30 per cent to SAR77.75. The firm revealed in a filing, earlier in the day, that its board of directors has recommended the distribution of dividend to the shareholders as following: The total amount for distribution of dividend shall be SAR18.750 million (US$5.11 million). The divided per share is set at SAR1.25, representing 12.5 per cent of the stock’s face value.
