Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), one of the region’s leading providers of insurance solutions for individuals and corporates, today announced its continued support to Al Bayt Mitwahid Association for the 2014 – 2015 campaign. Al Bayt Mitwahid campaign was launched by the employees of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court on the 41st UAE National Day in 2012 and became an official association in 2014. Al Bayt Mitwahid provides an open platform for UAE communities to give back to society by taking part in creating, fundraising, planning and implementing creative and caring initiatives that benefit a wide range of social causes.

ADNIC has been a proud partner of Al Bayt Mitwahid since its inception in 2012. Commenting on the continued sponsorship, Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Chief Human Resources & Corporate Affairs Officer of ADNIC, said: “We are delighted to be able to once again take an active role in supporting Al Bayt Mitwahid initiative. ADNIC is one of the oldest insurance companies in the UAE and we are proud of our national heritage. We also recognize that as responsible corporate citizens, we have a duty to promote the culture of aiding those most in need across this generous country and to help the community where we can.”

Ibrahim Al Mannaee, Board Secretary of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association said: “We are excited about the partnership with ADNIC, as they have been supportive since the beginning. It is through support from socially responsible private companies that we can continue to provide meaningful initiatives that address community needs and priorities in the UAE. All funding for the implementation of the initiatives is provided through corporate sponsors from the private sector.”

In 2013, Al Bayt Mitwahid funded and spearheaded the successful launch of seven sustainable community initiatives, one in each emirate; including the development of seven feed-product hydroponic farms in Ajman, a fish reserve comprised of 500 submerged reef balls in Fujairah, and a mentorship initiative for university students in Abu Dhabi. In 2014, 10 projects were launched and are being implemented, including three-UAE wide initiatives. One of these involved taking 28 Emirati students on a journey across the UAE to discover their heritage and the country’s achievements, which concluded with an opportunity to and meet His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

ADNIC is committed to playing its part in supporting social causes across the UAE and, in addition to sponsoring Al Bayt Mitwahid, the Company is a participant in Absher, an initiative designed to enhance Emirati participation in the private sector workforce.
