In appreciation of their strategic partnership, Microfund for Women recently honored Jordan Insurance Company (JIC) for its ongoing support during the organization’s semiannual meeting at the Landmark Hotel Amman.

JIC was recognized by Microfund for Women for its numerous programs and initiatives designed to support the organization’s beneficiaries and their families. In addition to its charitable contributions, JIC works with Microfund for Women to provide micro-insurance tailored to the specific needs of underprivileged beneficiaries.

Through its ‘Caring Program,’ the company helps these individuals and families cover the costs of hospital visits and routine medical care. The program also covers chronic diseases and childbirth, with no limitations of coverage based on the beneficiary’s medical history. While honoring the insurance company, the Microfund for Women’s management highlighted JIC’s valuable role in providing top-notch insurance services to an often-disregarded segment of society.

The Manager of Jordan Insurance Company’s Life and Personal Accidents Department, Ra’fat Younis, was present at the meeting, accepting an honorary shield on behalf of JIC.

Speaking on the occasion, Younis stressed JIC’s commitment to being a sustainable partner for the community and for organizations working toward its development. Younis praised Microfund for Women for the vital role it plays in supporting underprivileged families and empowering women in local communities, and underscored JIC’s dedication to helping the organization achieve its noble mission.

Founded in 1951, JIC offers a comprehensive line-up of insurance services, including marine, property, motor, life, medical and casualty insurance. The company has established an extensive network of global partnerships with industry leaders and continues to build its customer base on a foundation of integrity, loyalty, and customer care.
